Hi, I’m Tyler
I design and build enterprise-scale frontend applications with a focus on web performance, clean architecture, and maintainability.
Alongside my engineering work, I have spent more than three decades as a drummer, with experience across national touring, label-supported studio tracking, sync placements, event work, and modern session work.
Engineering
I build frontend applications with Vue, Angular, and TypeScript. My approach is to adopt frameworks when they provide a clear architectural advantage, and lean on platform-native browser capabilities when a lighter solution is better. My work has included public-facing marketing sites, payment flows, fintech integrations, design systems, and specialized interfaces for scientific hardware. One of my favorite parts of the job is reducing technical debt and moving legacy frontend systems toward maintainable, modern architectures.
Music
I have played drums for more than three decades, from regional independent bands to national touring, label-supported studio work, sync placements, event work, and remote session recording. My current drum work, videos, studio setup, and selected credits live on my dedicated drum site.
